Deeper into the Heart of Love’s Secret Ecstasy

Saturday, February 14, 2015 10:30 AM - 1 PM Albany, CA Imam Bilal plans to complete the re-introduction to the 100 Mystical Steps on the Sufi Path of Love, based on Abdullah Ansari, which he has focused on the heart of love's secret ecstasy. Valentine's Day is an excellent day for this focus on love. ....To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. Allah! There is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. (Qur'an 20:6-8, Yusuf Ali’s translation) Imam Bilal hasn't given us his version of this verse yet, but the unfolding of its meaning, or tafsir, connects all the portions of this reintroduction. We are preparing to seek what is hidden deep in the heart. If you were unable to attend or listen to the sessions on 11/22 and 12/27, we strongly encourage listening to them prior to this class (access to recording cost is the same as attending the class in person, and the recording is made available to everyone after the class).
