Physicians of the Heart: Seven Beautiful Names of Divine Protection, Imam Bilal

Saturday, Dec. 26, 201510:30 AM - 1 PMAlbany, CA A completely new series of classes based upon the book Physicians of the Heart will be presented by Imam Bilal Hyde, insha'llah, beginning with the Seven Beautiful Names of Divine Protection, along with special instructions on how to use them in different situations of everyday life. In addition to this there are seven verses from the sacred text of Qur'an, which may be chanted or written down. We will take a step-by-step approach to their pronunciation and how to place them on the different parts of the body in order to feel safe and secure in difficult or dangerous situations. Finally, there are a set of zikrs, which the Messenger, ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam, described as forming protective walls around a faithful soul, particularly in threatening times when fear, grief or rage can be sung into Love. He, ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam, also said that "the zikr cures ninety-nine kinds of disease, the least of which is depression." Each day of the week as well as each mansion of the moon has its own Guardian Angel according to Islamic Angelology.
