Dear Friends, Imam Bilal offers an expanded translation of this aphorism in advance of his upcoming workshop on Sufi breath Practices.
Love is BreathingLast night in a dream the Beloved whispered to me: “Oh Lover, even if you have lost everything and sacrificed your very own soul for My sake, and still you have not yet seen Me, do not despair, for ‘I am closer to you than your jugular vein.’(1). I am yours and you are all mine, and my Love is with you in every Breath."
